1Agreement to terms
By creating an account, joining the waitlist, or using SpeechAI (the "service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
The service is provided by Yevhen Krasnopolskyi, a sole proprietor (jednoosobowa działalność gospodarcza) registered in the Polish Central Registration and Information on Business (CEIDG), NIP 7123435207, REGON 521996016, operating as "SpeechAI", with a registered address at ul. Łomżyńska 9, 20-732 Lublin, Poland ("SpeechAI", "we", "us", or "our").
2Eligibility & accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the service.
- You register with an email address and are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity under it.
- Provide accurate information and let us know promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.
3The service
SpeechAI converts text, documents, and images into audio, can translate text before generating speech, and lets you store, sync across devices, listen offline, and optionally share what you create. The service is currently in a pre-launch / private-beta phase; features, limits, and availability may change as we develop it. We may add, modify, or discontinue features over time.
4Plans, pricing & billing
SpeechAI offers a Free plan and a Premium subscription. There are no one-time packs.
- Free. Includes up to 25 minutes of conversion per day, all three languages, basic voices, unlimited offline listening, cloud sync across your devices, your recordings kept for as long as your account exists, and no ads.
- Premium. $7.99 per month, or $69 per year ($5.75 per month, billed annually), with a 7-day free trial. Premium adds unlimited conversion (subject to fair use), premium voices, longer conversions (up to 10 hours each), and priority processing.
Trials, renewal & cancellation
- If you start a free trial, you will not be charged until the trial ends, unless you cancel before then.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are billed and managed by those stores under their terms, including their refund policies. Manage or cancel in your store account settings.
- We may change prices or plan features; we will give reasonable notice, and changes apply to future billing periods. Prices shown before launch are planned and may change.
- Except where required by law or a store's policy, payments are non-refundable.
5App stores (Apple & Google)
You download SpeechAI through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and your use of the app is also subject to those stores' terms. The following applies where you obtained the app from Apple:
- These terms are between you and SpeechAI only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no warranty obligation; any warranty claims, product-liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and claims under consumer-protection or similar law are our responsibility, not Apple's.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
- You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government restricted-parties list, as required by Apple.
For apps obtained from Google Play, your use is additionally governed by the Google Play Terms of Service. Where a store's rules conflict with these terms, the store's rules prevail for matters they govern (such as billing, refunds, and platform requirements).
6Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
If you are a consumer in the EU (including Poland), you normally have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason. Because SpeechAI provides digital content and services, you agree that we may begin providing the service immediately, and you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed, or — for paid digital content delivered before the period ends — once performance has begun with your prior express consent and acknowledgement. Where it applies, you can exercise the right by contacting support@speech-ai.app. This does not affect cancellation rights described under “Plans, pricing & billing” or any mandatory statutory rights.
7Your content & ownership
You own your content. The files you upload and the audio and translations you generate are yours — permanently, including offline and synced across your devices, even if you cancel a subscription. We do not claim ownership of your content.
You grant us a limited, worldwide license to host, store, process, transmit, and display your content solely to provide the service to you — for example, to convert and translate it, sync it, and deliver shared links you enable. This license exists only to operate the service and ends when you delete the content or your account, except for content you have publicly shared via a link while it remains active, and for limited backup retention. We do not use your content to train AI without your explicit opt-in (see the Privacy Policy).
8Acceptable use
You are responsible for the content you submit and must have the rights to use it. You agree not to:
- Upload or convert content you do not have the right to use, or that infringes someone's intellectual property or privacy;
- Use the service for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive purposes;
- Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or circumvent limits or security of the service;
- Resell or redistribute the service or generated audio in violation of these terms or applicable law;
- Use the service to create content that is illegal, harassing, or that impersonates others without authorization.
We may apply reasonable measures to enforce fair use and protect the service.
10Our intellectual property
The SpeechAI app, website, branding, logos, and underlying technology are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the service for its intended purpose. These terms do not give you any rights in our trademarks or brand without our written permission.
11Audio & translation accuracy
SpeechAI uses automated text-to-speech and machine translation. Results may contain errors, mispronunciations, or inaccuracies and should not be relied upon for legal, medical, financial, or other critical decisions without independent verification. Translations are provided for convenience and may not be exact.
12Third-party services
The service relies on third parties such as app stores, payment processors, hosting, and speech and translation providers. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
13Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, or if needed to protect the service or comply with the law. On termination, your right to use the service ends; provisions that by their nature should survive (such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will survive. You can export or delete your content before terminating your account.
14Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
15Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SpeechAI and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) EUR 100. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for intentional fault, and nothing affects the mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
16Governing law
These terms are governed by Polish law, without prejudice to any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence. Disputes will be subject to the courts having jurisdiction over our place of business in Lublin, Poland. If you are a consumer, you keep the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence, and nothing here deprives you of the protection of mandatory consumer law. Consumers in the EU may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
17Miscellaneous
- Entire agreement. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the service and replace any prior agreements on the subject.
- Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect, and the unenforceable part will be applied as close to its intent as the law allows.
- No waiver. If we do not enforce a right, that is not a waiver of it.
- Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent. We may assign these terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to the Privacy Policy.
- Force majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
18Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service and the law evolve. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
